This was an amazing multicultural destination wedding! Except of the fact that the bride and her family are from Malaysia and the groom and his family come from Algerian and Czech there were many other guests coming from around the world. They chose Prague for their wedding because the bride and groom currently live here but I believe it was a great and interesting choice also for all their travelling guests. Anyways, bringing all these cultures into the wedding lead to a several specific ceremonies, which were so interesting.
First of all we arranged a classic Western-Europe wedding ceremony when the bride and groom swear to accept the other half as his/her wife and husband. But then we incorporated also the Asian wedding traditions and arranged a tea ceremony. During this ceremony the bride and groom offers tea to their family members and on the other hand they give them beautiful presents. The bride and groom wear traditional Asian clothes for this occasion.
Then we also incorporated the groom's side wedding traditions so the mom of the groom helped with a henna ceremony, she explained the guests all the details and then, whoever was interested, could have henna to be painted. And for this event the bride and groom again wore different clothes.
After all these ceremonies everyone was looking forward to the Mandarin's delicious gastronomy so the served dinner could start. The atmosphere during the dinner was beautified by a quartet and after everyone finished with the dinner and we listened couple of emotional speeches, a great party full of spectacular moves started.
