Wedding of Flore and Vít was in a romantic and blossoming May. The style of the wedding was set as “Flower” which went perfectly with the trees and flowers all around in that time. Meanwhile Flore comes from France, Vít is from the Czech Republic so their guests were from different cultures. Before the wedding day itself there was a beer tasting reception which should show their guests part of the Czech culture and it was also a great occasion where to meet informally before the wedding day.
The beer tasting was held at Hotel Augustine’s brewery and the tasting included also their delicious St. Thomas beer which is prepared according to a secret old recipe. The wedding ceremony was held in a wonderful church of St. Salvator accompanied by a choir, organ and bride’s sister. After the wedding ceremony we had a surprise prepared for the guests - a cruise at a historical boat called Nepomuk. There was a cocktail hour during the cruise with French champagne all accompanied by the pianist. The port of the boat was moreover very symbolic for Flore and Vit as they visited this place together in the past. Dinner was held at very elegant Palace Žofín, which is located in the island at Vltava River. The atmosphere of the wedding was great which proved the smiling faces of the guests. Dinner was followed by performance of groom’s favorite singer Zdeněk Bína alternating with DJ. Overall it was a great party for guests of all generations. The next day started with a brunch, which was organized in a beautiful restaurant with view to Charles Bridge, Mlýnec. Planning wedding for Flore and Vít and the cooperation with them, their familes and their guests was a pleasure and I am honoured we could be part of their wedding. They are both very nice and kind people with great sense for humor so on top of everything it was also a great fun!
